Natural remedies for a healthy pregnancy


        Women love to become mother. Health and regular diet is very important during pregnancy. Consulting with a gynecologist is a must. Doctor’s prescribe taking less medicine. Home made remedies are advisable to treat simple problems of pregnancy.

      Women face many problems during pregnancy. Problems like backaches, headaches, depression and morning sickness are the most common ones. Vomiting during pregnancy occurs in 75% of women. This can be cured by considering home made remedies.

Few of the home made remedies are listed below:
  • For head ache take warm relaxing bath. You can try cold packs on the forehead to relieve headache. Don’t take aspirin without doctor advice.
  • For Backache Massaging is the best alternative to drug. Avoid using muscle relax gel unless the condition is severe.
  • For Sleeplessness take a brisk walk each day to avoid tension. You can take a warm bath and listen to music before going to bed. It is advisable to drink a cup of warm milk before going to bed.
  • It is important to eat a balanced diet. Food rich in vitamins, protein, minerals and carbohydrates is a must.
  • Drink sufficient milk to avoid constipation.
  • Quit smoking to avoid high blood pressure. 
  • In case of over weight you should consult with doctor.
  • Mild exercise, walking or swimming can be healthier for you.
  • Try yoga to reduce stress.
  • Do meditation to bring your emotions and stress on control.
  • Breathing in open air early in the morning is advisable.
  • Keep the kitchen well ventilated while cooking.
  • Vomiting is triggered by certain smells try to avoid it.
  • If you have vomiting and morning sickness don’t stop eating and drink more fluids.
  • Use peppermint gum to avoid morning sickness.
  • Take ginger tea that eases vomiting.
