Natural Eye Care Tips for this summer


Eye is the most important organ in the human body. Many people give less importance to eye care. Given below are few useful tips for eye care.





Splash the eyes with clean pure water:
  1. Take a pad of cotton wool and dip in rose water to which 2 – 3 drops of castor oil is added. Now place the pad on the eye lids for 20 minutes. This will reduce eye burns and is good for the eyes.
  2. Take cool tea solution and dip the cotton pad in it. Squeeze out the pads and place it over the eyes for 15  minutes and relax.
  3. Squeeze three pieces of cucumber. Dip cotton pads in the juice and place the pad over the eye lids. Relax for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey and half teaspoon of almond oil. Apply the mix gently over the eyes at bedtime. Repeat this for a week.
  5. Put five almonds in water. Soak them and gently peel off the skin and mix it with a glass of milk. Chew the almond while drinking the milk. Repeat this in the morning for 21 days and the result is amazing.
  6. A few minutes of walk will refresh your eyes as it increases more blood supply to the eyes.
  7. Fix an anti glare screen on to your monitor while working with computers.
  8. If there is blurring in vision one should consult with an eye consultant immediately.
  9. To avoid puffiness and dark circles one should sleep well everyday. Morning walk in an area where it is more greenery refreshes the eye sight. Eat lots of vegetables, carrots and fruits. Proper intake of water is a must it is recommended to take 7 – 8 glasses of water a day.
  10. Cataracts in eye are painless. The symptom for it is blurred vision, impaired night vision and double vision. In most cases doctors recommend cataract surgery. It is the only effective way to restore vision back properly.
  11. Each of us should step forward in donating the eyes as it reaches blind people in gaining vision.
