Bitter gourd health tips

 
The bitter gourd is used as food and medicine. The vegetable looks green and taste bitter. The plant is a climber and bears yellow flowers. The fresh juice of the vegetable is used to treat various ailments like diabetes, colic, sores, fungal infections etc. It stimulates the liver and enhances digestion. All parts of the plant, the seeds, leaves and vines are used for medicinal purposes. The juice of the bitter gourd leaves are used to treat cholera.
