Amla is also known as Indian Gooseberry. Phyllanthus emblica is the botanical name of Amla or Indian Gooseberry. Amla is very beneficial for eyes, immune system, hair etc.    
Humans have been anxious to know for inner and outer health of human body since ages. To maintain life and youth, Indian Gooseberry can be very beneficial.

Benefits of Indian gooseberry:-

Amla has many anti oxidants and it is an important medicine to strengthen the immune system. If we consume Amla regularly, we can be away from various infections, cough, cold and stress. Chyawanprash is a rasayana which contains 43 herbal ingredients as well as clarified butter, sesame oil, sugar cane juice, and honey. Chyawanprash is a rejuvenative medicine.This formula was first mentioned in the Charak Samhita.
