How to control obesity




Increase in body weight more than normal is called obesity. Obesity is caused by more intake of food especially fast food. Even children are getting affected by obesity. In western countries obesity is found more in children. This can be controlled by maintaining a proper diet and exercises. Children find it very difficult to be on diet. Regular exercise and planned diet is the ultimate solution for obesity. 

This can be cured by treatment or by home remedies.  Let us first look at the cause and cure for obesity.

Cause of obesity

It is caused by intake of oily, spicy and fatty food.
It is caused due to laziness.
Drinking alcohol and smoking causes obesity
Not doing regular exercise and walk causes obesity.
Including sweet and candy in your diet.
Eating food rich in carbohydrates such as rice and potatoes.
Including red meat in diet.
Stress causes obesity.

Steps to avoid obesity

Include food grains such as wheat, barley, sorghum and maize in your diet.
Your food must contain at least one bitter or pungent food.
Live stress free and be optimistic in your life.
Include fresh green vegetables in your diet.
Eat green salad containing tomatoes and mint leaves.
Drink plenty of water daily.
Drink cabbage juice or eat vegetable cabbage in any form.
Fruits like carrot, pineapple, papaya and apple keep you healthy.
Take lukewarm water after regular lunch and dinner.
Do not eat high caloric chocolates.
Use vegetable oil like ground oil, sunflower oil in place of butter and ghee.
Avoid excess salt in cooking.
Eat papaya or vegetable soup as your dinner for 2-3 months. This will result in quick
   weight loss and controls obesity.
Drink green tea or ginger tea as ginger is very effective in burning excess fat in your body.
Indian gooseberry called amalaki is an effective herb for the treatment of obesity.
Aloe Vera herb is very beneficial in controlling obesity.
Apple cider vinegar is used in weight control.
